In 2018, three friends who had known each other for years decided to go into business together. The idea? To build an RV Park near Austin that would allow people to LIVE a DIFFERENT experience.

We then talked to “the experts.” We talked to some of the highest paid RV Park consultants in the nation, but the things they started to tell us to do would have made us just like everybody else. So, we decided to call the company LIVE DIFFERENT LLC. And we decided to walk a different path: at every step we would ask ourselves, “Is this the kind of park WE would joyfully live in?”

We bought land – a lot of it. Land can have its own special qualities, and WHEN WE WALKED THIS LAND we felt at peace. And we could see in many directions. And that first summer, we could even feel the breezes keeping us cooler than expected.

We had seen those RV parking lots at Disney World — rows and rows of RVs in a straight line. We thought, “No! Let’s never do that to anyone!” We designed a park where every road is gently curved and framed by ribbon curb to create stability. And we don’t just number our lots, we name them!

Then we thought, “Hey, this is so nice, we should save some of the best sites for Tiny Homes! And so we did!”

We read hundreds and hundreds of comments people made RV parks all over the nation. We listened to what they complained about.

The #1 complaint we heard was bad internet. So we said, “Hey, we can solve that!” Then we had AT&T run commercial fiber for miles to reach our peaceful land. We believe we offer the best designed WiFi and hard-wired options of any RV park in the nation. For starters, every individual guest at our park can stream HD video (like Netflix) to their devices simultaneously for free. And the Tiny Home sites get their own private, high-end wired network.

The #2 most common complaint we heard was regarding the bathroom/showers. So we said, “Hey, what if we put a huge focus on that?” Now many guests tell us our spacious private bathroom/showers are like walking into those of a 5-star hotel!

Having built each individual site with a lot of care and attention, it is just one small step more to treat each customer with a lot of care and attention too. All three of us partners – and friends — know that people are the most important focus of everything we do. Our aim is treat you in the manner and style that makes you most comfortable.

So by now, it should not surprise you to know that our prices and deposits are a little higher than most RV parks. True, but not too much higher. And what we’ve found is that if you truly give people a quality experience at every step of the way, they will gladly pay a little more – and they might even tell their friends.
